Today I’ve been mostly sniffing different flavors of smoke while burning different wood species with Lichtenberg method.
Today I was working with pine, alder, koa and birch plywood. In pictures you can see the results.
I also ran some test burns on mahogany and flamed maple, but these two aren’t good woods for this method.
What kind of figures you can get depends a lot about grain structure of wood. Lighter the better as electricity runs too easily on heavy grain structure.
From now on I will be making these for sale too.
