Always Unique figures that can´t be copied

Patterns are formed with electricity and achieved figuration varies between different wood species.

Also grain structure plays huge role in the end results. As a general rule - Lighter the grain structure - Better the results.

There is no way to control the figures - I can only define the area for electricity to do its magic.

Standard

As a standard Lichtenberg Wood Burning Figures are left natural as they form.

For most stunning and intrigued figuring I recommend using Alder - Luckily it happens to be very nicely balanced tonewise too.

This shade of brown is achieved with nothing but ash that is spread during the figuring process.

If different shade is desired - Wood can be stained normally

Shiny Veins on Pale Alder

Wood receives "Pale Moon" -treatment to keep it in whiter shade

Part of the Lichtenberg figures are filled with Glitter (or Mica powder) mixed to Epoxy Resin

To achieve that beautiful and strong contrast -

Wood gets Satin Clear Coat & all the veins are High-gloss.

Wood Burning done the same way as in Standard option

Depending on the desired colour it can be beneficially to give Wood "Pale Moon" -treatment to let brighter stains to really shine

All Lichtenberg figures are filled with Glitter (or Mica powder) mixed to Epoxy Resin

Top is sanded flush which happens at the cost of losing some of the smallest details - This can result very devilish looking end-result.

Top is finished with High-Gloss Clear Coat
